Justin Rose four clear at Fort Worth Invitational

Justin Rose produced a solid third round four under 66 to tighten his lead at the Fort Worth Invitational in Texas, the BBC report.

Rose, currently the world number five, birdied his first three holes of the round to move to 14 under for the week.

The Englishman decided to play in Texas over competing at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and moved four clear of his nearest challengers American Brooks Koepka and Argentine Emiliano Grillo.

The pair sit on 10 under, with a cluster of players, including Spaniard Jon Rahm and South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen, a further two shots back on eight under.

Rose, 37, has dropped just three shots all week in Texas as he looks in fine form. During his rounds of 66, 64 and 66, Rose has made one bogey in each round as he looks to get his first PGA Tour win since 2015 when he triumphed at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans.
