After further scans and inspections, Haas has been released as the police revealed that he was “doing OK” after the crash.

As a result of the crash, Haas has had to pull out of the Genesis Open at the nearby Riviera Country Club where he was supposed to be competing on Thursday.

Actor Luke Wilson was also involved in the crash but he suffered no injuries in the incident.

Haas’ manager Allen Hobbs said:

While Bill escaped serious injuries and has been released from the hospital, he is understandably shaken up and more importantly his deepest condolences go out to the host family during this tragic and difficult time.

The Los Angeles Police Department are still investigating the main cause of the crash whilst the six-time PGA Tour winner recovers from the crash.
